Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), chairman of the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee, today announced that the committee will hold a markup this Wednesday, April 26 at 10 a.m. ET on the nomination of Julie Su to serve as Secretary for the U.S. Department of Labor.

“I strongly support Julie Su’s nomination,” said Chairman Sanders. “She has been an excellent Deputy Secretary of Labor for the last two years, an excellent Acting Secretary of Labor, and I believe that she will make an excellent Secretary of Labor.”
