Under the leadership of Secretary Becerra, the Department of Health and Human Services has furthered its radical political agenda at the expense of Americans’ health and well-being,” said Chairwoman Foxx. “The Department remains unaccountable for billions in outstanding COVID-19 relief dollars, yet the FY 2024 budget request calls for a more than 13 percent increase from FY 2023 enacted levels. Before the Department receives another dollar, Secretary Becerra must answer for his radical actions like his attacks on employer-sponsored health insurance, pushing gender-reassignment surgeries on minors, violating Americans’ religious freedoms, and socializing prescription drug costs."
