WASHINGTON - On Wednesday, July 12, at 10:15 a.m., the Education and the Workforce Committee will hold a markup to consider: Transparency in Billing Act, Transparency in Coverage Act, Health DATA Act, and Hidden Fee Disclosure Act.

“For too long, patients have been left in the dark, unable to make informed health care decisions which has left them paying higher costs. The Committee is rectifying these issues by marking up four bipartisan bills designed to increase transparency, promote accurate billing practices, and expand health care options for workers and their families," said Education and the Workforce Committee Chairwoman Virginia Foxx (R-NC).
